About the Ilderton & Area Business Association

For over twenty years, the Ilderton and Area Business Association (IABA) has provided a voice for business members, whether they be sole proprietorships, partnerships, or corporations, at the Municipal and Provincial levels of government. The IABA’s mandate is simple and our goal is to: “enhance, beautify and improve Ilderton and area”. The IABA encourages the establishment of businesses and projects that will increase the quality of life for residents.

The IABA works closely with municipal partners, including the Mayor, Ward 1 Councillor, CAO, and others to bring forward concerns, rectify issues, and advocate for business-friendly policies. Community initiatives include planter boxes along the main street (Ilderton Road), the Ilderton Farmer’s Market, Christmas lights, a community board, scholarships for graduating Medway High School students, Christmas Santa Social, and donations to the Ailsa Craig Food Bank to name a few of the many initiatives the IABA supports.
