For over two decades, the Ilderton and Area Business Association (IABA) has been a strong advocate for its members—whether sole proprietors, partnerships, or corporations—at both the municipal and provincial levels of government. The IABA also works to enhance, beautify, and improve Ilderton’s business district. The association actively promotes the growth of businesses and initiatives that contribute to the quality of life for local residents.

The IABA collaborates closely with municipal partners, including the Mayor, Ward 1 Councillor, CAO, and others, to address concerns, resolve issues, and champion business-friendly policies. Its community efforts include initiatives such as planter boxes along Ilderton Road, holiday lights, Halloween in the Village, a community bulletin board, scholarships for Medway High School graduates, the Santa float in the Santa Claus Parade, and donations to the Ailsa Craig Food Bank, among many other projects.
